Most of us saved Dad as "Dad" or a friend as "Bestie"- and never really memorized the number.
Lose or damage your phone, and you cannot borrow one to call them. You do not have the number.
The card lives in your wallet, purse or backpack.

How it works

1. Fill in up to seven names and numbers. You can use nicknames instead of full names.
2. We print it on thick PVC.
3. We mail it. It lives behind your ID, in your purse or backpack.
Need a new list later? Send in a new order.

First card — $10 shipped in the continental U.S.
Extra copies of the same card, same envelope — $5 each.
Write how many additional cards you will need in the notes field on the order form.

Privacy Promise

IDK Card is run by one person, a retired peace officer who spent a career protecting people. Here's exactly what happens to your information:

• What I collect: the names and numbers for your card, plus your name, shipping address, email and phone number so I can mail it.
• How I use it: only to print and mail your card. I never sell or share it, and I never call or contact anyone on your list.
• Payments: handled securely by Stripe. I never see or store your card number.
• Deleting it: within 7 days of shipping, I delete your order and contact list, and I shred any paper copies.
• Your choice: use nicknames like "Dad" or "Bestie," and include only what you're comfortable having printed.
• No tracking: this site doesn't use ad tracking and doesn't respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, since there's nothing to track.
• Changes: if this promise changes, I'll post the new version here with a new date.
• Questions or early deletion: email info@idkcard.com and I'll take care of it.
